Accidents in Inglewood, CA

Inglewood, home to major sports venues and close to LAX, sees frequent accidents on I-405 and I-105. These incidents can disrupt access to events and pose challenges for the city’s heavy commuter traffic.

Until 1960, it was mostly an enclave for white middle class citizens looking to escape Los Angeles, but it the past 40 years it has seen an extreme influx of black and Hispanic populations. The city of about 110,000 is currently on the upswing: the world-famous Forum, one of the biggest indoor venues in the country, recently opened for business again after being purchased and refurbished by the Madison Square Garden Group, and the Rams football team will relocate to a stadium in Inglewood in 2019.
