Michael Hollomon Jr.
Attorney
I was admitted to the practice of law in the State of California in 1989, after having received my Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law. I have also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit. I also previously served as Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court on a volunteer basis.
With 30 years of civil litigation and transactional experience I have handled a wide variety of matters on behalf of self-insured businesses, public entities, insurance companies and their insureds. This experience includes litigating major injury, wrongful death and products liability claims; claims of assault, battery, false imprisonment, and civil rights violation; as well as various business-related disputes including retail banking liability claims, breach of contract, unfair competition, antitrust violations and unlawful restraint of trade. My appellate experience includes civil writ proceedings and appeals before the California Court of Appeal, the California Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.
Prior to becoming an attorney I received considerable practical legal experience clerking for the Los Angeles County Superior Court and with the in-house legal department of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
