Barstow

Barstow, a desert hub and stopover for travelers on I-15, sees steady traffic flow. Accidents here can impact tourism and local commutes, especially for those heading toward Las Vegas or Los Angeles.

Nestled about 55 miles to the north of San Bernardino is Barstow and its roughly 25,000 residents. This is a major transportation center for travel across the state. Passing through this city alone is Interstate 15, Interstate 40, California State Route 58, and U.S. Route 66. Add to that the noticeable amount of railroad traffic that Barstow generates, and it is easy to see why this is an ideal place to live. Because of the vibrancy of its transportation system, however, more than a few accidents occur here on an all too frequent basis.
