Corona, located at the intersection of the 15 and 91 Freeways, sees significant traffic congestion and a high volume of accidents. The city’s position as a commuter hub between Riverside and Orange Counties adds to its traffic issues.

Corona has approximately 150,000 residents in 2010, was incorporated in 1886 and is one of the Inland Empire cities in Riverside County. Once known as the Lemon Capital of the World and more recently at the Gateway to the Inland Empire, the city is nestled between the Santa Ana Mountains on the southwest and the Cleveland National Forest on the northwest. Those who make their home in Corona are afforded numerous creative arts and cultural offering in their city in addition to those available in Orange and Los Angeles counties nearby.
