Accidents in Chino Hills, CA

Chino Hills, known for its scenic rolling hills, sees regular accidents along CA-71. These incidents impact local travel and access to nearby parks and open spaces.

Chino Hills is a suburb located on the southwestern side of the city of Los Angeles, CA. When the Mission San Gabriel was founded nearby in 1771, the literal hills were used for cattle grazing. It was not until 1910 however, when a proper city was established on the location today named Chino Hills. That was when Richard Gird bought the region and founded the city adjacent to his existing subdivision by the same name.

However, Chino Hills would remain a quiet farm community were it not for a building boom starting in the 1980s. Since that time, Chino Hills has grown to become a luxurious city featuring the Greg Norman designed course at Vellano Country Club. The Shoppes at Chino Hills has become something of a mecca for any with a heart of retail. All in, Chino Hills today earns top ranks for such things as Best Place to Live, Highest Incomes, highest personal safety, moderate growth, and more.
