Barstow, CA. – One person was killed and another was injured in a pedestrian accident in Barstow early Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, the accident happened around 12:15 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15 near Hodge Road.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man and a woman who had been struck by a big rig.
One person was killed in the accident.
The condition of the second pedestrian was not disclosed.

All northbound lanes were closed as the scene was cleared.
