Chino, CA – A man was killed in a hit-and-run collision that occurred earlier this month in Chino, according to the Chino Police Department.
The incident occurred on the 71 Freeway on-ramp near Chino Hills Parkway shortly before 2 a.m. October 4.
Cody Genis, 30, of Chino Hills, was reportedly hit by a vehicle on the northbound freeway on-ramp and the involved driver fled the scene.
According to police, Genis was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Chino Police Department is investigating the hit-and-run. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact the investigators at 909-334-3045.
