Chino Hills, CA – One person was killed after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle on southbound Highway 71 in Chino Hills early Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on southbound Highway 71, approximately 1.174 miles south of Euclid Ave, at around 7:09 a.m. on December 8, 2025.
The incident involved a motorcycle and a maroon Kia Sportage. Preliminary information indicates the motorcycle was traveling southbound on the highway when it collided with the Kia Sportage, which was blocking a lane at the time.
The victim, identified as 35-year-old Kyle Alvarez of Ontario, CA, was the motorcycle rider and was pronounced dead at 7:28 a.m. There were no other reported injuries, and no arrests have been made in connection with the crash.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities, including CHP and local fire personnel, responded promptly to the scene, securing the area and coordinating towing for both vehicles while documenting the incident.
