Hayward

Hayward is a central city in the East Bay with major connections to I-880 and I-580. Auto accidents often occur on these busy freeways, which see heavy commuter traffic.

Hayward is a growing city located in Alameda County, currently has over 150,000 citizens residing within the confines of the region. This makes it the sixth largest city in all of the Bay Area and the third largest in the Alameda County area. The majority of the local economy revolves around manufacturing, retail and small owned businesses. A notable former business from the area is the Hunt Brothers Cannery where local fruit, including cherries and peaches, were packed and canned before the company moved to tomatoes.
