Diamond Bar is a city located in eastern Los Angeles County, California. It is primarily a residential area with shopping centers dispersed throughout the city, and is comprised of upper middle class professionals and managers, including their families. During the year 2000, Diamond Bar’s estimated population increased from 56,287 to 56,784 in 2014. Diamond Bar derived its name from a branding iron depicting a “diamond over a bar”. Diamond Bar was Southern California’s first city in which a hydrogen fueling system was built.
