Timothy Garrison Among 8 Hurt in Sumas Crash on Van Buren Rd

Sumas, Washington (September 18, 2023) – Timothy Garrison, 19, of Ferndale, was injured in a traffic collision that took place in Sumas on Sunday evening, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck happened at about 7 p.m. September 17, on Van Buren Road and East Badger Road.
The Washington State Patrol said a car was traveling southbound on Van Buren Road when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on East Badger Road.
The occupants of both vehicles were not wearing seatbelts.
The driver of the southbound car, a Tacoma man, and his six passengers, were all taken to Peacehealth St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The other driver, identified as Garrison, was also taken to Peacehealth St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The WSP is investigating the collision.
