At Least One Person Hospitalized After Traffic Collision on Interstate 80 near Highway 50 in West Sacramento

West Sacramento, California (September 18, 2023) – At least one person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning in West Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck took place around 8:47 a.m. on westbound Interstate 8 just east of Highway 50.
A silver Mazda and a white and black Chevrolet Corvette were involved in the accident.
Yolo County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Another person was evaluated at the scene for their injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
