The WSP officer was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital

King County, Wash. – A Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper was injured after being struck by a car at the scene of a traffic collision in North Bend.
The accident happened around midnight on eastbound I-90 near Milepost 20, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The officer was reportedly at the scene of an initial three-vehicle collision when he was hit by a speeding car.
The officer was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital.

The driver of the speeding car was unhurt and is being evaluated for possible impairment.
