Victorville, CA. – 22-year-old Abel S. Navarrete has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon near an intersection in Victorville.
The wreck happened at around 2:20 p.m. March 30 near Amargosa Road and Ramada Drive.
Navarrete had been hospitalized with severe injuries, but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Victorville, CA – Authorities are investigating a major traffic collision that left two men critically injured on Saturday afternoon at an intersection near the City of Victorville Police Department.
The two-car crash occured at about 2:20 p.m. near the intersection of Amargosa Road and Ramada Drive.
According to the police, a gray 2001 Chevy Tahoe and a burgundy color Infiniti sedan were involved in the crash. Both vehicles had major damage.
Authorities say Infiniti was going southbound on Armagosa Road when, for some reason, it crossed into the opposite lane and right into the path of the oncoming Tahoe.
Police say two adult males were trapped in the Tahoe. The SUV driver was also trapped in the vehicle.
Firefighters responded to the scene and used the jaws of life to extricate the occupants from the wreckage.
Reportedly, Three people were injured in the crash and two of them had critical injuries. All three patients were transported to the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
