One Person Killed in Lancaster 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 at 250th Street
Lancaster, California (November 3, 2023) – One person was killed Friday night following a traffic collision involving three vehicles on State Route 138 near Lancaster, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident occurred around 9:07 p.m. on Highway 138, just west of 250th Street W.
As per the CHP, a Honda was traveling at 100 mph just before it collided with a black Tesla Model and a semi-truck. The semi-truck driver told CHP officers it was a head-on traffic collision.
One person was possibly ejected from one of the vehicles and sustained fatal injuries. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
A SigAlert was issued at 9:47 p.m. shutting down the Highway in both directions at 250th Street.
The crash remains under investigation.
