At Least One Person Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 5 Freeway near Roxford Street in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (August 1, 2023) – At least one person was sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle pileup that happened Monday night on the 5 Freeway in Los Angeles.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Roxford Street.
Three vehicles, including a Toyota Sienna, were involved in the collision.
At least one person suffered serious injuries, officials said.
A dog involved in the accident was picked up from the scene by the owner’s mother.
CHP officers could not immediately establish the cause of the accident, but they are investigating.
