Felipe Avila Dies in Victorville Pedestrian Crash on Amargosa and Gabriel Roads
Victorville, California (November 9, 2023) – 58-year-old Felipe Avila of Montclair was killed in a pedestrian crash at an intersection in Victorville Wednesday night.
The Victorville Fire Department said the wreck happened at around 8:13 p.m. on November 8 at Amargosa and Gabriel Roads.
For unknown reasons, a vehicle struck Avila at the intersection.
The rescue team arrived at the crash site and found Avila in a gravely hurt condition. Despite life-saving measures, Avila died of his injuries at the scene.
The Victorville Police Department temporarily shut down Amargosa Road for several hours as they investigated the wreck.
More details about the mishap were not available.
The crash is still being investigated.
