1 Killed, 2 Airlifted After Highway 1 Car Crash near Leeward Spur in Stewards Point
Sonoma County, California (October 29, 2023) – One person died, and two others were airlifted to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Saturday night in Stewards Point, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision occurred around 10:25 p.m. on northbound Highway 1, just north of Leeward Spur.
A white Ford pickup truck and another vehicle were involved in the collision.
The manner and cause of the accident were not mentioned.
The report said one person was killed in the crash.
Two helicopters responded and airlifted two victims to the hospital with unknown injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
