2 Injured in Head-On Collision at Highway 94 and Jamacha Boulevard in Spring Valley

San Diego, California (October 27, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized following a head-on collision that occurred on Friday night in Spring Valley near El Cajon.

At around 9:37 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Highway 94 and Jamacha Boulevard.

Authorities say a white Toyota Corolla and a gray SUV were involved in the crash. One vehicle reportedly ran a red light at the intersection and collided head-on with another car.

Two people were injured in the accident and were taken to Sharp Grossmont Hospital and Kaiser Permanente in unknown conditions.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
