1 Killed in State Route 152 Collision Involving Farm Tractor near Canada Road in Hollister

Hollister, California (September 26, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a fatal crash involving a farm tractor that happened in Hollister on Tuesday morning.

At around 7:32 a.m., the California Highway Patrol dispatch received reports of a traffic collision on Highway 152 near Canada Road.

A white Toyota reportedly accelerated for unknown reasons and crashed into a tractor that was turning onto the road from a tomato field.

Authorities say one person was killed in the accident.

The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
