One Person Arrested, Hospitalized After Fontana Crash on State Route 60

Fontana, California (October 2, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Fontana.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place around 2:10 p.m. on State Route 60 near Pedley Road.
A silver sedan and a black 4-door sedan were involved in the accident.
A Good Samaritan in a brown Chevrolet Tahoe who stopped to help reported the crash to authorities, saying the silver sedan was recklessly driving prior to the collision and the driver was drinking from an open container after the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
One person who suffered minor injuries was arrested for an unknown traffic violation and released to Riverside Community Hospital for further medical care.
The report did not mention the cause or manner of the collision.
