1 Hospitalized After Traffic Collision on State Route 73 in Newport Beach
Newport Beach, California (June 28, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Monday afternoon in Newport Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred at about 5 p.m. on southbound State Route 73, just north of MacArthur Boulevard.
At least two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Emergency personnel from the Newport Beach Fire Department responded to the scene and transported one person to Mission Hospital with minor injuries.
A Honda car was towed away from the scene with a broken front axle.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
