One Killed in Desert Hot Springs Crash on Indian Canyon Drive
Desert Hot Springs, California (June 28, 2023) – Authorities are working to determine what caused a crash left one person dead and another injured in Desert Hot Springs on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened on Indian Canyon Drive near State Route 62 just before 2:43 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided head-on. It’s unclear what led up to the incident.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Another party was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
Both sides of Indian Canyon Drive were shut down as authorities investigated the wreck.
