A 45-year-old WSDOT driver inside the truck was injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Ridgefield, WA. – A Washington State Department of Transportation worker was injured in a collision in Ridgefield on Saturday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 7 a.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Delfel Road.
The WSDOT worker was directing traffic at the scene of an earlier collision when a southbound Rivian R1S smashed into the WSDOT truck.
A 45-year-old WSDOT driver inside the truck was injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
