Palmdale, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Palmdale last week on Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Avenue O west of Street East at about 10:35 p.m. May 31.
According to the report, Winndell Johnson, 22, of Palmdale, was walking east on Avenue O when he was hit by a vehicle.
Johnson died following the accident.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
