Investigators said White was riding an orange 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound in the No. 2 lane when he hit the rear of a 2023 Toyota Camry, causing him to lose control of the bike.

Los Angeles, CA. – 37-year-old Kevin M. White died after colliding with a car early Sunday morning on a freeway in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles, according to the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner.
The accident was reported around 2:25 a.m. on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway near Normandie Avenue.
Investigators said White was riding an orange 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound in the No. 2 lane when he hit the rear of a 2023 Toyota Camry, causing him to lose control of the bike.
White suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
The 65-year-old Glendale man driving the Camry was unhurt.
The crash forced the closure of all westbound lanes just east of Western Avenue at 2:29 a.m. The lanes were back open at 5:44 a.m.

Los Angeles, CA – A motorcyclist was killed following a two-vehicle collision on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in South Los Angeles early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 2:25 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway, just east of Normandie Avenue.
CHP officials said a motorcycle and a white Toyota Camry were involved in the crash.
The rider was killed in the incident. The victim's name has not been released pending next of kin notification.
All westbound lanes of the freeway, just east of Western Avenue, were shut down at 2:29 a.m. and reopened at 5:44 a.m.
The incident is under investigation.
