Los Angeles, CA. – 42-year-old Eric Mitchell died after crashing his motorcycle into a wall along a transition road in downtown Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner reported.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway to the northbound Pasadena (110) Freeway transition road.
Mitchell was allegedly speeding when he flew off the transition road and hit the right shoulder wall.
First responders found the rider lying down and the motorbike blocking the middle lanes of the 110 Freeway.
Mitchell died of injuries suffered in the crash.

Los Angeles, CA. – A motorcyclist died in a collision that happened early Wednesday morning on a transition road in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place around 1:34 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway to the northbound 110 Freeway transition road.
A motorcyclist was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when they flew off the transition road into the right shoulder wall.
The rider died in the accident.
The Los Angeles police and firefighters responded to the scene.
