The deadly accident happened around 9:45 p.m., June 23, on Shields Avenue, west of Dewolf Avenue.
Fresno County, CA – The woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle last Monday in Fresno County has been identified as Thongkhan Phanthavong, 45, of Fresno, according to the Fresno County Coroner's Office.
The deadly accident happened around 9:45 p.m., June 23, on Shields Avenue, west of Dewolf Avenue.
CHP said a 20-year-old Clovis man was driving a Toyota Tundra eastbound when he struck Phanthavong, who crossed the road directly in front of the vehicle.
Phanthavong was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tundra driver stayed at the scene and was uninjured in the accident.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
