San Francisco, CA.- A man was hit and killed by a scooter rider in San Francisco on Friday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The crash happened on Sixth and Market streets at about 3:50 p.m. July 18.
According to the report, Peter Rudolph, 77, of San Francisco, was walking in the area when he was hit by a person riding an electric scooter.
Rudolph was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The rider of the scooter remained at the scene after the accident.
No further details were released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
