A man was walking south on the right shoulder of the highway when he went into the roadway and was hit by a Ford F-150 pickup
Healdsburg, CA.- A pedestrian was killed in an accident with a vehicle in Healdsburg on Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened on U.S. 101 south of Westside Road at about 2:30 p.m. May 22.
A man was walking south on the right shoulder of the highway when he went into the roadway and was hit by a Ford F-150 pickup.
The man was killed in the crash.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
At least two lanes were blocked as authorities investigated the incident.
The crash remained under investigation.
