Douglas County, OR – The man who was killed Monday evening in a single-car accident in Douglas County has been identified as 47-year-old Patrick Jones, of Reedsport, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office
The deadly accident happened just before 6:30 p.m., June 30, on Lower Smith River Road near milepost 41.
Authorities said Jones was driving a pickup truck when he crashed.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
