Patricia Harrison was pronounced dead at the accident scene
Astoria, OR. – 77-year-old Patricia Harrison was killed in a pedestrian accident that happened in Astoria on Sunday morning.
According to the police, the accident happened around 9:18 a.m. at 16th Street and Irving Avenue.
Patricia was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The woman was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The involved vehicle fled from the scene, hitting another vehicle.
The suspect, 50-year-old Michael Munson Smith, was apprehended in the 1700 block of Jerome Avenue and was taken into custody.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
