Plymouth, CA. – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened Monday night at an intersection in Plymouth, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. on westbound State Route 16, also known as Jackson Road, at Moriah Heights Road.
A truck veered off the roadway and went about 40 feet down a steep embankment.
The driver was stuck inside the vehicle with minor injuries.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped the motorist.
The cause of the collision was not immediately established.
