A 27-year-old was driving a Ford Focus westbound on Carroll Canyon Road when it was rear-ended by a black 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle driven by a 62-year-old man

Sorrento Valley, CA. – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle in Sorrento Valley on Thursday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place in the 4900 block of Caroll Canyon Road at about 4:13 p.m. June 5.
A 27-year-old was driving a Ford Focus westbound on Carroll Canyon Road when it was rear-ended by a black 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle driven by a 62-year-old man.
The rider was rushed to a hopspital with fractured ribs and a punctured lung.
Alcohol was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
