Desert Hot Springs, CA – One person was injured after two vehicles collided at an intersection in Desert Hot Springs early Wednesday.
The serious crash happened at about 3 a.m. at the intersection of Mountain View Road and Dillon Road.
According to CHP, a woman in a white Nissan Rogue was going southbound on Mountain View Road when she ran a red light and broadsided a red Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on Dillon Road.
Altima flipped and landed on its roof trapping the driver.
Authorities had to be extricated from the vehicle. The man sustained a head injury and was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center.
The female driver was not hurt.
The incident remains under investigation.
