Fresno County, CA – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash that left a man dead and a woman injured at an intersection in Reedley.
The deadly crash occurred at about 6:49 a.m. at the intersection of American and Buttonwillow avenues, just north of Reedley.
According to CHP, a woman operating silver a Toyota Prius pulled out in front of a white Toyota Corolla traveling northbound on Buttonwillow Avenue, leading to the collision.
Authorities say the man driving the Corolla was pronounced at the scene.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The Prius driver was flown to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno in unknown condition.
CHP said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
