Clatsop County, OR – The Oregon State Patrol has identified the victim that was killed and two of the three injured in a head-on crash on Highway 26 in Clatsop County Saturday afternoon.
Lynette Marie Love, 50),of Othello (WA) was killed, 16-year-old male juvenile motorist, passengers, Ricardo Brooks Gorwood 19 of Canby and Jacob William Dahl, 18, of Molalla, were hurt in a crash that happened at around3:58 p.m. on June 14 on State Route 26 near milepost 2.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the male juvenile was driving an eastbound Toyota Avalon when it crossed the centerline and crashed head-on with a westbound Toyota Camry driven by Love.
Love was declared deceased at the scene.
The male juvenile and passengers, Gorwood and Dahl suffered serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
An investigation is underway.

Clatsop County, OR – A driver was killed and three other people were seriously injured after a Saturday afternoon two-vehicle collision on Highway 26 in Clatsop County.
The deadly wreck occurred at around 3:58 p.m. on June 14 on State Route 26 near milepost 2, according to the Oregon State Police.
Investigators revealed that Toyota Avalon driven by a 16-year-old boy was headed eastbound on the highway when for unknown reasons it drifted into the centerline and collided head-on a westbound Toyota Camry.
The Camry driver was died at the scene. The operator of the Avalon along with his two passengers were rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.
The highway was shut down for about seven hours during the on-site investigations.
