Police reported that Luccia Rose Romeo, 35, was driving eastbound on Anklam Road when she swerved across the median and crashed head-on with an oncoming vehicle driven by Linda Parke Alderson
Tucson, AZ.- A second person died following a two-vehicle collision that took place last week in Tucson, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The wreck happened on June 26 at West Anklam Road.
Police reported that Luccia Rose Romeo, 35, was driving eastbound on Anklam Road when she swerved across the median and crashed head-on with an oncoming vehicle driven by Linda Parke Alderson, 76.
Romeo was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Alderson was taken to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries days later.
Authorities reported that Romeo may have had a medical issue just prior to the collision.
The incident is under investigation.
