Chula Vista, CA – The motorcycle rider who was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 805 in Chula Vista on Monday has been identified
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 53-year-old Jorge Uribe.
Authorities said Uribe was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a recklessly driven Tesla on southbound Interstate 805 near Telegraph Canyon Road at about 8:03 p.m. on June 30.
Uribe was pronounced dead at the scene at about 8:13 p.m.

Chula Vista, CA – One person died in a motorcycle accident that happened Monday evening on a freeway in Chula Vista.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:03 p.m. on the southbound Interstate 805 near Telegraph Canyon Road.
A red Tesla was reportedly driving recklessly when it hit a motorcycle. At least one other vehicle was possibly involved in the accident.
A white male adult walked away from the Tesla in traffic lanes but was allegedly detained and taken back to the collision scene.
One person was killed in the accident, as per the report.
CHP officers are investigating the crash.
