Salem, OR.- A bicyclist was killed in a suspected DUI accident in Salem on Thursday evening, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on Delaney Road SE just before 7:19 p.m. July 10.
According to the report, Jeremy Wanak, 46, of Salem, was riding a bicycle in the area when he was hit by a white Hyundai Accent driven by Damon Johnson, 28, of Salem.
Wanak was rushed to Salem Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Johnson was arrested and booked on multiple charges including second-degree manslaughter, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, and DUI.
The incident is under investigation.
