The female driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police

Seattle, WA. – A 6-year-old girl was seriously after being struck by a car in the Cherry Hill area of Seattle on Sunday morning.
According to Seattle police, the accident happened just before noon at Rainier Avenue South and South Charles Street.
The young girl and her mother were walking in the crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle.
The girl suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by Seattle Fire Department ambulance.
The female driver stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
