Washington County, OR – The authorities are investigating a major injury crash involving a bicyclist and a hit-and-run driver in Washington County on Sunday.
Authorities said the Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of a crash at about 7:17 a.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in the 22400 block of NW Dairy Creek Road.
Investigators said an adult female bicyclist was struck overnight by a hit-and-run driver.
Reportedly, the woman suffered serious facial, leg, and other injuries and spent the night in a ditch alone until she was discovered by passersby in the morning.
Passersby located an adult female bicyclist who had been struck overnight by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene after the crash.
The woman was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
NW Dairy Creek Road was shut down for several hours as crews worked at the scene. The road has since re-opened.
The crash is under investigation.
