Jonathan Glennie and Natalie Cabiad injured in car accident on Colbert Road near US 2

Colbert, WA. – A man was killed in a car crash that left two others injured in Colbert on Sunday afternoon.
The fatal collision happened on Colbert Road near Highway 2 at around 4:15 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
Curtis L. Chumbley, 92, was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra eastbound on Colbert Road when he collided with a 2019 Toyota Corolla traveling south on Highway 2.
Chumbley, of Spokane, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Corolla, 28-year-old Jonathan Glennie, of Nine Mile Falls, was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
26-year-old Natalie Cabiad, of Spokane, was riding in the Toyota and was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
