The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly wreck at around 5:23 p.m. on July 12 on the northbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 116, south of Basin Road
San Bernardino County, CA – The police have identified the woman killed in a solo-vehicle collision on 15 Freeway in Cronese Valley Saturday evening as Christina Vanessa Saldivar, 36, of Sylmar.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly wreck at around 5:23 p.m. on July 12 on the northbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 116, south of Basin Road.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Saldivar was headed northbound on the freeway in a 2017 Toyota Corolla when, for some reason, she drifted into a dirt median between southbound and northbound traffic.
The vehicle overturned several times, and Saldivar, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected.
Saldivar was declared dead at the scene.
The grisly wreck remains under investigation.
