Boyle Heights, CA. – Cesar Ruiz, 38, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash early Saturday morning in Boyle Heights.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:57 a.m. on the transition from the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway to the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway.
Ruiz was driving a pickup truck when he lost control and crashed into an overpass.
The man was found unresponsive inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
