Sherman Oaks, CA – A 12-year-old boy was killed Wednesday morning after a vehicle collided with a parked moving truck on Woodman Avenue in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said the deadly crash happened at 10:17 a.m. in the 4000 block of N Woodman Avenue in Sherman Oaks.
Authorities said the boy was in the front passenger seat of a vehicle that crashed into the parked moving van.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.
Police said a woman and a 10-year-old boy in the vehicle were not injured but were transported to a local hospital due to protocols for fatal collisions.
