A driver reportedly hit a bicyclist in the area and fled the scene, leaving the rider with serious injuries

Pomona, CA.- A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident that took place in Pomona last week on Monday, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on Monterey Avenue and Eleanor Street at about 1:10 a.m. June 30.
A driver reportedly hit a bicyclist in the area and fled the scene, leaving the rider with serious injuries.
The bicyclist was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after.
Authorities are searching for a vehicle suspected to be a gray four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima.
The incident is under investigation.
