According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 11:40 p.m. on eastbound State Route 152, just east of Dinosaur Point Road.
Hollister, CA. – At least one person was severely injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Thursday night in Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 11:40 p.m. on eastbound State Route 152, just east of Dinosaur Point Road.
Six vehicles were involved in the accident.
Reportedly, one of the cars was involved in a solo collision, ending up on its roof. Two other vehicles pulled over near the scene, and another vehicle hit the overturned car. Moments later, a gray Mercedes struck the vehicles that were blocking the roadway.
At least one person was trapped inside one of the cars.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene with several ambulances.
One person was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
