Stanislaus County, CA – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred at an intersection in Salida early Thursday morning.
The deadly crash happened at about 3:41 a.m. at the intersection of Covert Road and Toomes Road.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles were involved in the crash.
Responding crews found one of the vehicles in a field in the area.
At least one person was killed in the crash, CHP said in their incident log.
No additional details are available at this time.
The crash is under investigation.
