Sonoma, CA – At least one person was killed after two vehicles collided on Highway 121 in Sonoma on Friday evening.
The deadly crash happened at about 4:31 p.m. on June 6 in the area of State Route 121 and Highway 37.
According to CHP, two vehicles, described as a blue Toyota SUV and a tan SUV, were involved in the crash.
Both vehicles reportedly caught fire following the collision.
Authorities said at least one person died in the crash.
A SigAlert was issued at about 5:24 p.m. blocking Highway 12 in both directions as crews worked at the scene.
The SigAlert was updated at about 5:42 p.m. with CHP initiating a one-way traffic control on the highway.
All lanes were re-opened at about 6:47 p.m.
No additional details were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
